Deep Cleaning
Professional deep cleaning removes embedded dirt, residue and contaminants that ordinary household cleaning may leave behind. Cleaning also helps reveal the true condition of the existing finish before additional restoration is recommended.
Color Corrections
Localized color correction can improve sun-faded areas, mismatched repairs, minor stains and uneven coloration where practical. Exact matching is not always possible because wood species, age, sunlight and previous finishes affect the final result.
Recoats and Floor Refreshes
When the existing finish remains suitable, the floor may be lightly abraded and coated with a compatible protective finish. This can renew sheen, improve protection and extend the useful life of the floor without removing all of the existing finish.
Wax and Residue Removal
Wax, acrylic polish and incompatible cleaning products can make floors look cloudy, attract dirt or prevent a new coating from bonding. The floor must be evaluated and properly prepared before recoating.
When Full Refinishing May Be Better
Full sanding and refinishing may be recommended when finish has worn through to bare wood, scratches are deep, staining is extensive, the color needs to change throughout the room or the existing coating cannot accept a maintenance coat.
